Arago’s AutoPilot Named Key Technology in HfS Autonomics Premier League Table

December 4, 2015 | By Business Wire News

NEW YORK

arago GmbH (arago), the leader in smart automation, today announced that the company’s key product AutoPilot, an intelligent IT automation software suite, was named a key technology in the HfS Autonomics Premier League Table.

arago’s AutoPilot software allows companies to automate operations of their entire IT stack from infrastructure to business processes. This means it will learn to solve up to 90 percent of all tasks from human experts in operations and perform them autonomously. The results of using arago’s technology are empowering clients in three ways: first by reducing overall IT operating costs by 30 to 50 percent, second, by improving agility as well as compliance and third, by retaining knowledge while freeing up experts for innovation. AutoPilot enables IT to become a competitive advantage in the digital age.

The report which was authored by HfS Research analysts Tom Reuner and Charles Sutherland, recognizes arago’s AutoPilot as a core autonomics solution. Key differentiators that are called out include the fact that standardization is not required and proprietary software is not seen an inhibitor to achieving higher levels of automation.

According to Dr. Tom Reuner, Managing Director, Research, HfS Research, “At the heart of arago’s approach are self-learning algorithms that capture both the knowledge base of an organization and historical incidents. Furthermore, arago points to the fact that it does not base its approach on standard operating procedures (SOPs). Thus, the company has positioned its approach to autonomics to address the entire IT stack.”

The report notes that arago has a significant amount of direct business in addition to building out a partner channel. Unlike competitors which offer a managed service approach, arago’s offering is purely a software solution.

“HfS’ Autonomics Premier League report has helped define the issues and concerns of enterprises, the strategic players and leading solutions in the intelligent automation industry,” said Chris Boos, CEO of arago. “We are proud to be named a Key Technology in the core autonomics space and delighted to be working with partners to help enterprises gain significant competitive advantages by driving down operating costs and delivering cost effective, flexible services.”

In the smart automation landscape, arago is the undisputed expert, building disruptive technology using AI and analytical components designed with one vision in mind: to enable companies to refocus their IT resources to where they are needed – driving the digital innovation agenda.
