Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation (NYSE: AP) announced that Maria (“Masha”) Trainor joined the Corporation as Vice President and General Counsel on June 1, 2015. Ms. Trainor will also serve as Corporate Secretary.

Rose Hoover, Executive Vice President of the Corporation, said, “Prior to joining us, Masha was a corporate partner at K&L Gates, a large international law firm. Her broad experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions make her a well-suited addition to our team to help us grow the Corporation and drive the legal strategy as we develop and implement our strategic plan.”

While at K&L Gates, Ms. Trainor provided strategic legal counsel to public and private businesses on a wide range of general corporate, compliance, regulatory, governance, securities, international and domestic M&A, and commercial contract matters.

Ms. Trainor is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Women’s Center and Shelter and a member of Pittsburgh Business Times BizWomen Insiders Club.
