Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation (NYSE: AP) has announced the election of Rose Hoover to President of the Corporation effective August 1, 2015. She will continue to serve as Chief Administrative Officer.

Joining Ampco-Pittsburgh in 1979, Ms. Hoover has advanced through a number of increasingly responsible roles during her over thirty-six years with the Corporation, most recently serving as Executive Vice President.

“Throughout her career at Ampco-Pittsburgh, Rose has made many significant contributions and will continue to be heavily involved in the management and strategic direction of the Corporation as we continue to improve and grow the company,” said John Stanik, Chief Executive Officer of Ampco-Pittsburgh.

Ms. Hoover holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and currently serves as a Director of the National Kidney Foundation.
