Alba Energy, Texas’ premier solar energy installer, has opened an office in McAllen, Texas, making residential and commercial solar installation services more widely available in the Rio Grande Valley.
Alba Energy will seek to grow to a team of eight in the McAllen office, through staff relocation and local hiring. Alba Energy’s team of in-house, licensed professionals design and install solar energy systems, providing trusted service and a one-stop, turnkey solution for business and home owners.
“With ample days of sunlight throughout the year, the Rio Grande Valley has the perfect conditions for solar energy solutions,” said Graeme Walker, founder and CEO of Alba Energy. “We are responding to the need for quality solar installers in the area and creating a permanent presence here.”
Alba Energy has already completed a large solar installation project in McAllen, Texas with the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) in the area. The McAllen EDC installation was commissioned on May 27th and will help the organization reduce its energy costs by up to 25 percent.
“We’re proud to be the first city agency to add a solar energy system and hope to set a positive example for other city councils, businesses and homeowners,” said Keith Patridge, President and CEO of McAllen EDC. “The team at Alba Energy made our switch to solar simple and hassle-free. We’re welcoming the public to visit the EDC building so that they can see the new system and its benefits for themselves.”
Alba Energy’s team has over 70 years of collective experience in the solar industry, and includes three Master Electricians, four NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professionals and a Licensed Professional Engineer. Unlike many solar installers, Alba Energy does not subcontract to third parties and instead manages its team of highly trained and fully insured employees in-house.
“With attractive local incentives and federal rebates for solar installations, as well as great financing options, now is a great time to switch to solar in the Rio Grande Valley,” said Walker. “Our team of solar energy professionals works closely with customers to guide their switch to solar energy.”
