WHAT:

The 80edays China Team, is seeking help in locating charging stations with three-phase power hookups – CEE Adapter, 380-400V, 32A, 20kW – along its route as it enters the U.S. from Canada. The China Team came prepared with EV charging equipment to allow for infrastructure challenges during the non-China segments of the rally, but the triple-phase power adapter is not commonly found at typical Canadian or American EV charging stations, so they are turning to the Internet and social media to appeal to the American public for assistance.

WHO:

The 80edays China Team pilot Andrew Yi Zong, a visionary entrepreneur and environmentally conscious electric car enthusiast, is driving a DENZA on the 2016 around-the-world endurance challenge. Zong selected the DENZA, a Sino-German joint venture brand manufactured and available in China, for the rally to raise awareness for sustainable transport and demonstrate how electric cars operate across different conditions and terrains.

During the next two days (June 23-24), the route for the 80edays all-EV rally takes the China Team into Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York, as shown in the table below. To view the full route map, please visit: http://bit.ly/80edaysmap.
