Rockwell Automation has introduced the Dodge Tigear-2 family, a full line of single-reduction, right-angle worm speed reducers, specifically engineered to offer increased value in a cost-competitive product. The totally enclosed, ventless sealing system contains a factory-filled synthetic lubricant that accommodates a wide range of operating temperatures. Delivering on average a 30% increase in output torque, the gear geometry allows designers to choose smaller sizes for their applications without compromising service life. A tapered adapter bushing system virtually eliminates fretting corrosion on hollow-shaft applications. Configuration options include quill input, separate input and three-piece coupled input. It also is available in corrosion-resistant materials for washdown applications in the food and beverage industry.
