Motion control line is for machine builders

Vickers-Warnick is now offering the G&L line of motion controllers, as Danaher Motion recently acquired G&L Motion Control (GLMC), a supplier of motion-centric machine control solutions, from ThyssenKrupp of Germany. The transaction was limited to the business located in Fond Du Lac, Wisc., and did not include any G&L machine tool company. GLMC, a global solutions supplier to machine-building companies in packaging, converting, assembly and factory automation, will be part of the Motion Control Systems Center of Excellence in Danaher’s motion platform. Its latest compact digital MMC offering is part of a family of motion control products that integrates logic, motion, drives and motors with a single software-programming interface.
