Machine analyzer diagnoses complex vibration data

Hyatt Industries has added the VibXpert, a fast FFT analyzer and data collector, to its range of condition monitoring systems by Pruftechnik. Features include an automatic, light-sensitive keyboard and high-resolution backlit screen for easy viewing in any light conditions, long battery life, 102,400 lines of resolution and on-board memory card that is upgradeable to 1 gigabyte. The system measures and records all forms of machine vibrations, bearing condition, temperature, rpm, as well as process and inspection data. The unit can be supplied either as a one- or a two-channel package. Additionally, two analogue measurement channels will accept almost every type of proprietary sensor.
