WrightGrip is a high-strength, anti-slip design that will be standard on all Wright Tool open-end and combination wrenches in sizes up to 1-1/4 in. It ensures that the open-end wrench fits snugly on the fastener, preventing the jaws from spreading and keeping the wrench from slipping. The new design incorporates a series of teeth or grooves on the insides of the wrench’s jaws, which allows for a better seating of the wrench on the fastener. The design also includes a slight enlargement of the wrench opening’s back end. The additional metal in this high-stress area helps to stiffen the wrench jaws.
