A series of metric worm gears and worm wheels from Quality Transmission Components provides over 403 ways to transmit motion at a 90-degree angle to the shaft. These hobbed worm gears, KWG worm shafts and AG worm wheels, are available in 4140 alloy steel and the worm wheels in CAC702 aluminum bronze. Bore diameters for worm gears range from 4 mm to 250 mm and worm shaft lengths range from 13 mm to 32.5 mm. The worm gears and wheels are suitable for many power transmission design applications.
