Designed for harsh, wet environments where sanitary conditions must be maintained, the line of NEMA 23 Rubber Duck step motors employs a new waterproof motor technology and can operate in up to 30 ft of water. The housing keeps out moisture that would rust, corrode and shut down the motor. A double shaft seal and leak-proof cable entry provide water-tight sealing and assure bearing protection, and a thick, protective layer of caustic-resistant fluoroelastomer is bonded to the motor body. This compact, economical motor can be safely scrubbed and hosed down. It is available in three motor sizes and can operate at internal temperatures to 155C.
