Fixmaster Flex Brushable Urethane is a two-part urethane system that combines the properties of rubber and urethane to form an abrasion and impact-resistant coating for parts and equipment. It can be used for protecting or repairing rubber, urethane and metal surfaces on equipment such as conveyor rollers, pumps, tanks, chutes and hoppers, or for repairing small cuts in conveyor belts.

Bolt-on lock converts swivel casters

With the simple press of your foot, this bolt-on, field-installable directional lock converts swivel casters to rigid casters for straight-line tracking. With its new foot-operated swivel lock, there is no need to reach down to pull or push a hand-operated plunger when activating or disengaging swivel locks. A toe push disengages the lock and a toe pull releases the locking pin into position. Directional slots can lock the swivel into any of four positions at 90 degree intervals. The unit is designed and fabricated in Cambridge, Ont.

Zinc coating helps pump mounting plates resist corrosion

All SAE hydraulic pump mounting plates from KTR Corp. now have a yellow zinc chromate coating to resist corrosion. The plates are designed to provide lightweight, compact mounting of hydraulic pumps to engines. Unlike paint, the zinc coating does not interfere with the critical pilot dimensions of the housing and pump.

Caster wheel has very low rolling resistance, high weight capacity

Toronto-based Darcor reports that its new, special-order SX wheel provides the lowest rolling resistance on the market over a wider spectrum of weight capacity. It has the same ergonomic design as the company’s SE wheel and handles up to one ton of load per wheel, the highest weight capacity available in a soft, solid elastomer wheel.
