WEG variable-speed drives for use on centrifugal pumps and fans control flow consistently and efficiently. They provide a wide range of new options for flexibly controlling and getting process information. For centrifugal loads, the power required is proportional to the cube of the speed. For most centrifugal applications, maximum flow is not required all the time. With a WEG variable-speed drive, the user can efficiently decrease speed and save energy and money. For example, at 80% motor speed the load requires only 51% power.
