Asahi/America has introduced two new options for its Series 79 pneumatic actuators, the safety spring and the integral travel stop. The safety spring option, available for the C79P through the G79P line of single-acting pneumatic actuators, allows for the removal of the end caps for maintenance or changing of the fail orientation. Output torque and dimensions are not affected with this option. The integral travel stop option was created for double- and single-acting pneumatic actuators, allowing for independent adjustment of the closed stroke (0 degrees) from minus 2 degrees to plus 4 degrees, and of the open stroke (90 degrees) from minus 4 degrees to plus 2 degrees. Available for models C79P through G79P, it must be factory-installed.
