The rugged Cincinnati Lamb Hawk TC-150 turning centre features a true 45-degree slant bed for rigidity, vibration damping and chip removal efficiency. Long-wearing hardened steel ways and advanced linear scale feedback enable fast processing with micron-level precision. AC brushless servo drives deliver rapid traverse rates of 30 m/min. (1,181 ipm) in both Z- and X-axes. A high-speed servo-driven turret reduces indexing time to 0.12 secs. The turret accommodates up to 12 rigidly mounted tool holders for I.D. and O.D. turning. High-torque spindle drive motors deliver 12.5 kW (17 hp) machine tool duty rated spindle with a maximum speed of 5,500 rpm, full hp with 117 ft lb torque at 750 rpm. The unit comes standard with the GE Fanuc 2li-TB CNC.
