Eaton’s Hydraulics Training Services division has introduced a redesigned and improved hydraulic training system for classroom fluid power simulations. The HTS-2 fluid power training simulator demonstrates the principles of aeration and cavitation, while giving hands-on experience with sequencing circuits, series and parallel component operations, flow control, hydraulic counterbalancing, and a wide range of other fundamental concepts. A dual operator station simulator, it can accommodate up to four students at a time. Each simulator panel is equipped with lever operated, four-way, three position, tandem centre directional control valve, sequence valve, pressure reducing/ relieving valve, check valve, pressure compensated flow control valve, and other components commonly found in hydraulic applications. A central power unit supplies a total flow of 3 gpm at 500 psi. The components are easily connected together with flexible hoses and leak-free couplers to create many variations of basic hydraulic circuits. Eaton Fluid Power Group
