Lowell has introduced a compact torque wrench kit that gives plumbers and utility workers all the tools they need to tighten all standard fastening screws on No-HUB couplings to 60 lbin. or 80 lb-in. Each kit comprises two T-Torker torque wrenches, one set to 60 lb max torque and the other to 80 lb, and three hex sockets. A durable carrying case is available. Each wrench is labelled with its torque setting and has a colour-coded collar for easy identification. A T-shaped handle gives the user good leverage, and a flanged collar can be easily pulled to disengage the ratchet mechanism and lock the tool for effective reversing action, without torque limitation.

I imagine plumbers find the fact that this kit is compact very handy when they need to get under a sink, or working in small spaces. The release system to lock or disengage the ratchet mechanism would also be really handy for small spaces–it’s hard to maneuver fully around a pipe under a sink.
