Thin-section bearing engineering manual includes detailed descriptions

A comprehensive engineering manual covering the specifications, performance, applications, installation and maintenance of Reali-Slim thin-section bearings has been released by Kaydon. The 110-page, free manual contains selection tables for both open and sealed bearing types, in angular, radial and four-point configurations. Included are detailed application and mounting recommendations and performance considerations, such as torque, limiting speeds, and axial, radial and moment deflection versus load curves. Inspection, installation, lubrication and maintenance procedures also are listed, along with selection guides for the company’s line of Reali-Slim metric bearings and easy-mount bearing/gear assemblies, Ultra-Slim thin-section bearings and KT tapered roller bearings.
