Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 NLGI 2 synthetic grease for general industrial and food-processing machinery from ExxonMobil is designed for difficult-to-lubricate, high-temperature applications. Formulated with the company’s polyurea thickener and a high-performance additive technology, the grease is engineered to promote food-safe processing, deliver good equipment performance, reduce maintenance costs and increase productivity. The polymer-enhanced formulation enables the grease to resist the effects of water from washdowns and prevent rust formation. The grease exhibits good load-carrying capabilities, and an enhanced film thickness protects metal surfaces from wear-related failures. It protects equipment operating in temperatures as high as 160C (320F).
