Canadian Manufacturing Week, held at Toronto’s International Centre Sept. 28-30, 2004, featured some of Canada’s leading industry experts speaking about how to rise to the challenges facing the country’s manufacturing sector.
The conference was held in conjuction with the CMW trade show, which also included Weld Expo Canada and Finishing Expo Canada. The event is held in Toronto every two years.
The conference included a keynote panel presentation, Survival Strategies for Canadian Manufacturers, which covered the topics of Offshoring of Manufacturing: Threat or Opportunity; Human capital: Do we have the skilled workforce we need? and Lean manufacturing: Are we there yet?
