Grove Gear’s new Investment Cast Stainless Steel Reducer Line includes two new sizes of reducers in addition to the original four sizes offered in its stainless lineup. Stainless steel speed reducers are an ideal washdown solution. They have no paint to peel off and the steel will not rust. The sealed-for-life design uses synthetic lube that never needs changing. The sealing technology also reduces leaks significantly. The gear geometry, with ground and polished worms, provides quiet operation. The investment cast process provides a smoother finish than sand casting. Available in six sizes of single reduction, double reduction, worm worm and helical worms with solid output and hollow output options, the Investment line includes both quill and flexible coupled ‘C’ face inputs.
