Manufactured using class 300 series stainless steel, Renold Coris roller chain is suitable for use in acidic or alkaline environments, where the chain will be exposed to water, and for very high or very low temperature locations, where resistance to corrosion and chemical reaction is a requirement. The chain is manufactured using FDA-approved material and is pre-lubricated with USDA H1-approved lubricant. Applications in the food packaging industry include in corrosive atmospheres such as caustic solutions for washing down, and where relatively low loads are the norm, such as biscuit machines and food packaging machines.
