Designed for use with rotating dry process equipment, Meco’s Ex-Pac shaft seals are built to withstand inhospitable conditions, such as aggressive solvents and other chemicals, temperatures up to 500F, thermal shaft growth, pressure fluctuations, high shaft runout and slight axial motion. Available with either elastomeric or mechanical drive mechanisms, the seals are suitable for use in abrasive applications while protecting shafts from damage. The company custom-engineers seals to suit individual requirements. Fully split for simple installation and maintenance, the seals can be retrofit without removal of the bearing or drive.
