Split Ring Installs Quickly For Bearing Protection

The split-ring version of the Aegis SGR bearing protection ring comes in halves for easy field installation on coupled equipment with little or no equipment disassembly. The split ring simplifies predictive and preventive maintenance programs for inhouse plant maintenance departments, motor repair shops, maintenance contractors and HVAC service contractors. Maintenance free for the life of the motor, the ring features microfibres that work with virtually no friction or wear and are unaffected by dirt, grease or other contaminants. It is available with mounting hardware in sizes to accommodate motor shafts up to 6 in. in diameter, and larger rings can be specially ordered.
