SM-Cyclo Canada, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Heavy Industries, has released the next generation of its Cyclo 6000 speed reducers and gearmotors. The new design is smaller and more compact, yet remains “torque dense.” Its improved cycloidal disc geometry has resulted in ratings increases of up to 30% within the same space envelope. A video on the Cyclo’s principle of operation can be viewed on www.smcyclo.com, where complete specifications are also listed.
