Shaft Grounding Brush Eliminates Damaging Voltages

A shaft grounding brush that prevents electrical damage to motor bearings by safely channelling harmful shaft currents to ground has been introduced by Electro Static Technology, an ITW Company. The Aegis SGR (Shaft Grounding Ring) Conductive MicroFiber brush uses Electron Transport Technology to ensure long-term effectiveness of the motors, thereby improving reliability and lowering maintenance requirements for greater lifecycle savings. As the design ensures there is virtually no friction and therefore no wear, the brush will last for normal service life of the motor.
