Shaft Alignment System Is Rich In Features

Hamar Laser Instruments has introduced two shaft alignment systems, the S-670 and S-680 Stealth series, designed to simplify the task of detecting and correcting misaligned shafts and couplings. These laser-based systems feature super-linear PSD technology, Bluetooth wireless communication, long-life lithium polymer battery technology, IP67 rating and up to 0.5 micron resolution. The S-680 is a top-of- the-line, full-featured five-axis system and includes bracket sets for 25-mm to 250-mm (1-in. to 10-in.) shaft diameters. The more economical three-axis S-670 is an entry-level system suitable for most standard applications. It fits 25-mm to 130-mm (1-in. to 5.5-in.) shaft diameters. Hyatt Industries
