Danaher Motion has introduced the Kollmorgen S200 series brushless servo drives, featuring a velocity loop bandwidth up to 800 Hz for increased system throughput and simplified tuning. Coupling an S200 drive with a new advanced Kollmorgen motor provides a complete low-cost solution for applications such as semiconductor fabrication, electronic assembly, packaging and woodworking equipment. The drive comes standard with torque or velocity control and optionally supports Indexing, CANopen or DeviceNet. Featuring a compact footprint, it is available for AC (120/240 VAC) or DC (20-90 V) operation with current ratings from 1 A rms continuous to 18 A rms peak. A separate, ‘keep alive’ power input allows rapid recovery from emergency stop conditions.
