The Graymills Osep-2 portable, fluid-conditioning filtration system and oil/water separator removes tramp oils from water-based coolants used in typical machining centres. Solids and fines also are removed during this process. A 2-in. by 2-in. footprint, 17-gal capacity and heavy-duty casters give the unit a compact, mobile design, allowing it to be moved easily throughout the plant. It requires only a 50-psi air connection; no electrical connection is needed. Maintaining the quality of machine-tool coolant in this way extends its life, which in turn cuts costs and enhances the workplace environment.
