The Hamilton 7100 Series Pneumatic-tired Casters, a new series, now has a more compact top plate measuring 4 in. x 5 in. and a zinc plating finish to prevent rust and wear. Pneumatic-tired casters cushion loads and roll well on paved or concrete surfaces. The swivel construction features a drop forged steel top plate and horn base, legs made of 1/4-in. plate steel, and a 3/4-in. dia integrally forged steel kingpin. Two swivel bearing surfaces — a 2-1/2-in. dia main load raceway and a precision tapered secondary load bearing, which counteracts radial thrust, allow smooth swivelling under heavy loads. Wheel sizes range from 8 in. to 12 in. in dia.
