The series ICL of pneumatic cylinders from Bosch Rexroth is designed for dust-off or light washdown applications, such as secondary packaging/handling. The cylinders have hard anodized aluminum surfaces with stainless steel screws and piston rods. Due to the standard magnetic piston design, micro-sensors can easily be installed on an integrated external rail. Features include adjustable cushions and noise-reducing bumpers on both ends as standard, and Viton seals are available for high-temperature environments. The cylinders use the company’s ‘ideal cushioning’ design, which allows fine tuning of cushions to maximize stroke speed, resulting in reduced cycle times, reduced vibration and longer cylinder life. Bore sizes range from 32 mm to 125 mm.
