The explosion-proof Perimeter Access Guarding Device PA4600-EP from Scientific Technologies is a long-range, multiple-beam safeguarding control system that provides a long operating range (30 m) and wide beam spacing, making it suitable for torso detection, particularly in areas where hazardous or explosive materials are present. The unit is easy to install, and a front panel access to selector switches allows for easy configuration modification. A selection of scan codes allows the installer to choose unique scan frequencies, thereby avoiding crosstalk with adjacent systems or other infra-red emitting devices. The system also has 625-mA solid-state safety outputs that provide a wide range of interfacing options with industry-standard safety relays.
