The Plant Engineering & Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) has announced plans to produce its own national conference for the physical asset management profession. MainTrain 2004 is scheduled for Nov. 22-25, 2004, at the Grand Hotel in Toronto.

“It will be Canada’s premier education and learning event, featuring industry presenters and the latest topics, methodology, concepts and case studies to help improve the management of physical assets,” says Norm Clegg, executive director of the association.

“MainTrain 2004 will help attendees achieve maintenance excellence,” adds PEMAC president David Taggart.

Platinum sponsors for the event include SKF Canada, Petro-Canada Lubricants, IFS Industrial & Financial Systems, and the Rexroth Bosch Group.
