Oil-Shear Electric Motor Brakes are Easy to Install

Now available in Quick-Mount versions, MagnaShear oil-shear electric motor brakes offer long wear life and low maintenance costs. Suitable for indexing tables, lifts, transfer conveyors, palletizing and other start/stop and cycling operations, these brakes come filled with oil, ready to mount and with no disassembly required. They are offered in nine spring-set torque ratings from 6 ft lb to 86 ft lb. Standard models are available for seven NEMA motor frame sizes, with IEC frames supplied on request. Units are fully sealed for dependability and long service in difficult outdoor environments and indoor applications with high oil, grit or moisture exposure.
