Timken has introduced a line of non-contact infrared thermometers that allow users to safely measure the temperature of equipment operating in hard-to-access or dangerous areas. Capable of reading temperatures ranging from minus 76F to plus 1,600F, these handheld devices use infrared technology to determine an object’s surface temperature and provide a clear reading on the backlit LCD display. They are particularly suited for equipment maintenance applications involving moving rollers, machinery and conveyor belts. Three models are available.
