Motion Industries Inc. has released Ask the Expert, an on-line customer support tool designed to provide customers with real-time answers to product application questions, according to Bill Stevens, Motion Industries’ president and CEO.

“Many of our customers rely on us to provide not only quality products, but also extensive application expertise,” said Stevens. “Ask the Expert allows our salespeople instant access to a rich database of product application information for immediate customer solutions.”

According to Ellen Holladay, Motion Industries’ senior vice-president and chief information officer, “having Ask the Expert available from every desktop means that salespeople can answer questions on the initial phone call.” Customers don’t have to wait for the salesperson to contact a product specialist or research a product manual to address a specific part or production line problem.

Powered by Motion Industries’ MROSolutions database, this unique capability is available to all Motion Industries sales representatives.
