Recognizing the need for the proper handling and storing of chemical and flammable materials, Can-Ross Environmental Services Ltd., a provider of environmental products and services, has partnered with PPI Modular Structures Inc. to expand its current product offering to include Hazardous Materials Storage Buildings. With the increased scrutiny of compliance to the fire code, hazardous materials storage buildings are becoming an essential part of any industrial or commercial facility. The one-piece construction results in minimal cost to relocate and the units can be shipped, offloaded and placed in one day. The steel-framed buildings come complete with a welded steel base and structural steel members, checkerplate steel flooring, and spill containment. Also included for added safety are wall-mounted explosion relief panels and/or roof-mounted explosion relief panels/skylights, single-ply membrane roofing, and an explosion-proof electrical system.
