Mechanical Bore Gauge Performs Fast Lot Sampling

Sunnen’s PG series mechanical bore gauges offers fast, precise in-line ID measurement for honing, grinding, boring, reaming and drilling operations or incoming parts inspections. The gauges have no need for electrical or air connection, making them immune to fluctuations in line voltage or air pressure. Compact and easily portable, they can be quickly mounted right at machining stations. The speedometer-type scale provides readouts down to 0.001 mm (0.000050 in. ) for full inspection of machining operations or fast sampling of large vendor lots. Various models are available for gauging IDs from 2.0 mm to 109.47 mm (0.090 in. to 4.310 in.).
