Lubricating Fluid Performs In Cold Temperatures

Petro-Canada has added Reflo XL synthetic blend refrigeration lubricating fluid to its line of refrigeration compressor oils. This high-performance semi-synthetic extends fluid life, reduces wear and extends drain intervals in ammonia refrigeration systems. It is for- mulated to reduce seal swelling and deliver improved viscosity. Should the fluid get carried into cold sections of the system, it is better able to flow to traps and separators, where it can be removed at temperatures as low as minus 35C (-31F). The product underwent rigorous testing prior to its launch.
