Linear Motion Solution Cuts CNC Machine Assembly Time

ShopBot, a manufacturer of CNC routing machines that was looking to reduce assembly time and cost for its next generation of compact Buddy CNC machines, has selected a Bishop-Wisecarver linear motion solution for the PowerStick feature of these machines. Bishop-Wisecarver developed a functional prototype, the QuickTrak clamp extrusion, which requires no drilling or fasteners and integrates the company’s DualVee track. This reduced assembly time to just minutes, and significantly increased production capacity.
