Suited to a variety of measuring applications, the easy-to-use, ergonomic Hilti PD 40 and PD 42 laser range meters enable one per son to take accurate measurements at the press of a button, even in hard-to-reach areas. The meters have a pinpoint accuracy of plus or minus 1/25 in. and can measure distances from 2 in. up to 650 ft. They simplify the measurement of areas and volumes, including at longer distances or in vertical applications, resulting in more efficient and accurate job estimates. In addition, they can add and subtract distances, as well as areas and volumes. The PD 42 stores the last 30 distance measurements or the last five function results. Designed to withstand tough jobsite conditions, the meters are equipped with a rubber coating and durable housing.
