Baldor has announced a new family of hollow bore gearmotors. The H Box hollow bore gearmotors feature a 1-in. hollow output shaft that can be connected directly to the driven load, saving space and eliminating expensive shaft couplings, chains/sprockets, chain guards and associated hardware commonly used to connect gearmotors to loads. Features include chill cast bronze gearing, heat-treated and ground steel worm, ratios of 10, 20, 30 and 60:1 and synthetic USDA H1 food-grade oil, sealed for maintenance-free operation. The product line is offered in single- and three-phase configuration with 1/2-hp , 3/4-hp and 1-hp ratings. An optional output shaft kit is available.
