Graphite/Metal Alloy Bushings Extend Screw Conveyor Life

Screw conveyors have a long operating life in corrosive, continuous-duty paper-making environments when equipped with Graphalloy graphite/metal alloy split conveyor bushings. This self-lubricating alloy requires no grease or oil and works efficiently in submerged conditions. It is not affected by caustics, black liquors and other hostile liquids found in paper-making lines. In addition, it can withstand high temperatures and survive run-dry conditions. The bushings maintain a constant, low co-efficient of friction, helping to protect against catastrophic failure.
