The Sumitomo Hyponic gearmotor represents 60 years of experience in the design and manufacture of gearing solutions. There are more than one million Hyponics currently in service. The newest model features a more compact, modular housing, maintenance-free grease lubrication, quiet and leak-free operation and higher efficiencies. Hyponic options include C-Face configurations, plug-in solid shafts, inverter-duty motors and washdown construction. With washdown duty as an option, Hyponic is the ideal choice for bottling, bakery, and food processing industries. Sumitomo’s patented all-steel hypoidal gear technology is extremely high-performance and more efficient than worm gearing across ratios from 10:1 to 1440:1 and input power from 15 watts to 7.5 hp.
