Gauge prolongs v-belt life

Goodyear Canada’s Engineered Products Division has introduced a tension tool for determining precise belt tension measurements wherever v-belt applications are used in mining, manufacturing, oil and gas, forestry and food industries. The belt should be placed on pulleys and tightened just enough to remove slack. The TensionRite II gauge is then applied to the centre of the belt and the belt is tensioned to the correct setting on the back of the gauge.
