Alpha Wire has announced that it has extended its Xtra-Guard product range with the addition of flexible motor supply cables to its high-performance variable frequency drive product line. These durable yet economical cables are suited to motor and drive applications requiring small outer diameter, flexibility and ease of handling. They feature a round geometry to facilitate environmental sealing and a symmetrical design that improves the electrical performance, allowing the cable to exhibit uniform bending characteristics. Additional features include the company’s Suprashield, PVC nylon tape, four symmetrical drain wires and a specially formulated PVC jacket.
