Introducing a software package for small to medium-sized manufacturing shops, Job Shop Manager uses an employee fingerprint log-in to track time and job budgets. The software uses fingerprint-matching technology to log in employees and assign the time to specific jobs. With a push of a button, a payroll report can be printed at week’s end with accuracy up to 1/100th of an hour. The package also allows shops to budget available departmental hours before a job begins, efficiently tracking production and budget, and formulates price quotes. It runs on Microsoft Windows 98, ME, NT or 2000. Hardware requirements are a minimum Pentium II processor and 64 MB of RAM with a USB connection and a two-button mouse. Internet Explorer version 4.2 or higher is required.
