EASA Product News: Motor line conforms to European standards

Weg’s Tru-Metric electric motor line is designed and built according to European IEC 34 and IEC 79 standards. Suitable for inverter duty, these IP55 motors are recommended for extreme ambient conditions, dust or dirty environments (without corrosive components), for outdoor applications or when the motor requires cleaning with water. Features include oil seals on both endshields, Class F insulation, three-phase, 50/60 Hz, 380V to 415 V (50 HZ), 230 V/460 V (60 Hz) . The motors are tested according to IEEE 112 std., method B, and their efficiency values are certified according to EPACT regulations. Applications include blowers, compressors, pumps, conveyors, textiles, marine duty and others.
