Bilsom has announced an improved version of its Clarity line of earmuffs, featuring uniform attenuation technology that filters out harmful noise while allowing users to hear warnings, alarms and co-workers’ voices, even in loud industrial environments. Other improvements include greater comfort and multiple noise attenuation levels, which allow users to choose the right amount of protection for their application. Each of the three models in the line provides a different level of hearing protection: 20, 23 and 27 Nose Reduction Rating (NRR). C1 and C3 sound management earmuffs include a dual headband design with a soft, ventilated inner surface to prevent the buildup of heat and perspiration, while an adjustable Quick-Click outer headband ensures a comfortable fit and minimizes slippage. The C2 model offers a multiple-position headband, allowing the earmuff to be worn with headgear. All models use a dielectric design that protects against shock in environments where electrical equipment is used.
