Direct connectivity for Ethernet networks and increased power ratings up to 500 hp give Schneider Electric’s Telemecanique Altivar 58 TRX AC drive the functionality to meet demanding industrial application requirements. Features include superior PID and catch-on-the-fly capabilities. Random switching frequency modulations reduce motor noise, making the drive suitable for HVAC, pumping and other applications requiring quiet motors. With an optional Ethernet card, embedded web pages allow real-time access to drive information from anywhere in the world, using a standard web browser. The drives are available with a variety of operator interface options, I/O extension cards and communications option cards for Ethernet and other major network protocols. The RS485/Modbus protocol is built in. PowerSuite programming software is available to simplify start-up and testing.
